Letter from a patient

Dear Carrie,
It’s hard to explain how great I feel since I got my hearing aid. For years I knew my right ear had a severe loss of sounds. I shopped in the wee hours of the morning to avoid crowds as I kept banging into people. I started to avoid parties and gatherings because people thought I was ignoring them. When I finally convinced myself to go to you, I even started to grow my hair longer to hide the hearing aid. Because of the type of loss, I couldn’t get the ‘hidden’ type. Well, I was so excited to hear sounds again on my right side, that all the above was not necessary. I showed everyone my hearing aid and even wear my hair pulled back. I now shop whenever I feel and go out a lot – gatherings, meetings, parties and driving. I even increased my volunteer work. Your caring and full explanations during my office visits and exam made it easier for me to relax and accept the fact of getting the aid. Once I got it, I felt like a new world opened up for me. Thank you, thank you and thank you.

Sincerely,
Dorothy Civiletti

We care about what you hear

The focus of everyone at the Center is your hearing health and not simply the sale of hearing aids.

“It took awhile for me to accept the fact that I needed hearing aids. For a long time, my family’s patience was tested. Finally, I went to Advanced Hearing Centers, and my life changed — it’s that simple.”
