Helping You Find the Right Solutions
Step 1 – Consultation
Helping you hear better begins with a conversation with you about your thoughts, feelings and experiences. We listen – to learn about your hearing - how it affects your life and what your expectations are for improvement.
Step 2 – Examination
Using the latest technology, we will perform a thorough examination of your ears for any physical condition that might be cause for further medical evaluation. If a build up of cerumen (ear wax) is present, we will remove it prior to testing.
Step 3 – Testing
Based on the examination, we provide a variety of comprehensive tests in Advanced Hearing Centers' specially designed rooms. The testing determines the level of your hearing loss and your ability to understand speech in a variety of listening environments.
Step 4 – Recommendation
After a detailed explanation of the test results and the examination, we submit recommendations to you for the most appropriate course of action and rehabilitation, if needed.
Step 5 – Fitting
If our recommendation includes hearing instruments, we will likely begin the fitting process by making molds of your ears for customized hearing instruments.
Step 6 – Verification
Once you begin to use the properly fitted hearing instruments, we will perform a series of hearing aid verification tests to make sure that you are hearing speech as clearly as you should.
Step 7- Counseling
Since there is likely to be a normal period of adjustment for you and those close to you, we provide patient and family counseling. If there are any questions or concerns about your hearing aids, we are ready to help.
