The human ear is a complex system made of many parts. The parts of our ear are separated into three systems, the Outer Ear, the Middle Ear, and the Inner Ear.
The sound then hits the ear drum (Tympanic Membrane), causing it to vibrate. This vibration moves three bones (the Ossicles).
The movement of these bones causes fluid in the organ of hearing (the Cochlea) to move. The movements of the fluid makes thousands of hair cells bend back and forth. The motion of these hair cells sends a message up the nerve of hearing (Auditory Nerve) to the brain. Lastly, the brain needs to interpret the signal it receives.
